The museum's library functions as an integral part of the environmental education hall but retains the possibility of autonomous operation for the general public.
The library aims at:
- The collection of bibliographic data and the creation of an electronic database on environmental data and biodiversity.
- The support of educational and research activities.
- The provision of IT services.
- The library is enriched through purchase or donations. The museum library contains approximately 1,200 books, about 600 DVDs and CD ROMs about the environment and magazines.
